The 57-year-old Canedda boasts a rich background that includes a collaborative coaching tenure with Guardiola and a role as an assistant with teams such as Almeria and Real Sociedad. Ascending to the position of head coach, he has spent a considerable period in Asia, where he guided clubs like Al-Jiddah United and Al-Nassr.
