The journey commenced during the summer of 2021. It was then that Ramon Planes, a discerning talent scout, set his sights on a burgeoning star: a left winger, then plying his trade in Spain's second division with the team Ercilia. His prowess on the field was undeniable, and his future seemed exceptionally bright. Barça's scouts took keen notice of this player. He had arrived in Spain at a tender age, accompanied by his parents, and flourished within the youth ranks of Erciles.
Consequently, in the event that the termination clause of the player donning the number 11 jersey for Sevilla is activated, Barcelona would receive only 12 million euros, a sum significantly less than the 70 million euros spent by Newcastle United to acquire Anthony Gordon this summer. It also amounts to just half of the 24 million euros that were initially invested in securing Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.
